Welcome to our self-onboarding guide for Checkout. This guide provides the necessary steps and best practices for a smooth and speedy integration. By the end, you will be able to test and validate integration before deploying to production. And don't forget - our customer success team is always here to help you every step of the way.

The following steps must be completed in order to proceed:

1. Choose environment
2. Register with the Merchant Portal
3. Complete your profile setup
4. Live testing and launch

Once you have completed these simple steps, you are ready to kickstart your Pay Now journey.

Choose Environment

You will first need to decide if you are integrating with the Sandbox or the Production environment. The Sandbox is open and available for everyone to try, but if you want access to Production, you will need to have an agreement with Neonomics. Get in touch with us here.

Register with the Merchant Portal

Sandbox

1. Follow the link and sign up
2. Go to Company settings
3. Fill in your company information under Details
4. Find your Integration information, URL, and API key
5. Integrate Checkout by following these steps
6. Integrate the Webhook payment status updates (optional)

Make the new payment method available in your UI.

• We recommend using our circular logo. There are two colour variations of this logo. Select the one that stands out in your UI.
• Add a text, for example, "Pay directly from your bank".

Test in Sandbox

The Sandbox testing environment is connected to a small selection of bank sandboxes.

The table below lists the SSNs and Usernames, as well as recommended accounts to test with.

Production

To get access to Merchant Portal in production, you need to have a signed contract with us.

Create an account and get access to Merchant Portal. After you have created your account the Customer Success team will approve your user and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

1. Follow the link and sign up
2. Go to Company settings
3. Fill in your company information under Details
4. Find your Integration information, and update the URL and API key from Sandbox to Production.
5. Integrate Checkout by following these steps
6. Integrate the Webhook payment status updates (optional)

Live testing and launch

After completing the integration, we recommend you test and validate your product to ensure it works as expected. Ensure real bank accounts and individuals with the local authorization method (BankID, MitID, etc.) are available to perform live testing.

We recommend you do end-to-end live tests with a least 3 different bank groups in the country.

Before launch, have a sync with your contact at Neonomics Customer Success team, to have a run-through of the flow and notify of the launch date.
