Welcome to our self-onboarding guide for Nello Pay. This guide provides the necessary steps and best practices for a smooth and speedy integration. By the end, you will be able to test and validate integration before deploying to production. And don't forget - our customer success team is always here to help you every step of the way.

Introduction

The following steps must be completed in order to proceed with self-onboarding:

1. Register with the Merchant Portal
2. Test and integrate NelloPay with our sandbox API
3. Fill out the customer due diligence form
4. Integrate with NelloPay production API

Once you have completed these simple steps, you are ready to kickstart your Nello Pay journey.

Integration

The Merchant Portal has both sandbox and production views. Once you have access to production access, you will be able to toggle between both environments.

Sandbox

Sandbox is a test environment that uses the bank's open banking environments. Testing Resources: Sandbox testing information can be found here

Setup Steps:

1. Sign up
2. Navigate to Company settings
3. Find your Integration information, URL, and API key
4. Integrate Nello Pay by following the integration steps
5. Integrate the Webhook payment status updates (optional)
6. Test and integrate with the NelloPay sandbox API and Webhook.

Production

Production connects to the bank's production environments.

Getting production access

1. Fill out the customer due diligence form and submit for review.
2. Received communication from Neonomics with feedback and a contract to sign.
3. Neonomics approves your organisation to go live, and you get production access.
4. Integrate with the production API, use the production endpoint, API key and webhook.
5. Go live with NelloPay.

Design Guidelines

In our Neonomics Brand guidelines, you will find all you need for the visuals: Logo, Color, and Typography.

Visual Implementation:

• Use our circular logo with the color variation that stands out in your UI
• Add descriptive text, for example: "Pay by Bank"
• Follow our brand guidelines for consistent styling

Production Integration

Prerequisites: You must have a signed contract with Neonomics to access the Production environment.

Setup Process:

1. Sign up for production access
2. Wait for approval - The Customer Success team will approve your user and send a confirmation email
3. Navigate to Company settings
4. Fill in your company information under Details
5. Update your Integration information - replace Sandbox URL and API key with Production credentials
6. Deploy Nello Pay integration to production
7. Integrate the Webhook payment status updates (optional)

Live Testing and Launch

Pre-Launch Testing

After completing the integration, we recommend you test and validate your product to ensure it works as expected.

Testing Requirements:

• Real bank accounts and individuals with local authorization methods (BankID, MitID, etc.)
• End-to-end live tests with at least 3 different bank groups in your target country
• Complete payment flows from initiation to completion

Launch Coordination

Before going live:

1. Complete comprehensive testing across multiple bank groups
2. Schedule a sync with your Neonomics Customer Success team contact
3. Review the complete flow together
4. Notify the team of your planned launch date
